I just got back from a long weekend trip to Chicago with the North Bullitt High School Band. After several weeks of rehearsal, students, parents, and Mrs. Kling, and our tour guide, who happened to be a retired music educator, and I left for Chicago.
There we would experience a little bit of everything the city had to offer.

Of course during your semester of student teaching, a student teacher is working with another established Music Educator's music program and students. So coming in from the outside, it's hard to know right off the bat exactly what the students know, don't know, or what they should know and might not remember.
